Families with children / Child care subsidies
Families in receipt of child care subsidies at the end of the month and the year, children for whom subsidy has been paid, amount of subsidies paid out and average subsidy per month. In addition to the benefits mandated by law, this report also provides data on municipal supplements that some municipalities pay through Kela.
Child care subsidies are a form of financial assistance for the provision of child care. The subsidies are paid out in the form of child home care, private day care, partial care allowances and flexible care allowances.
End-of-year data available since 2007. Monthly data available for the current and two preceding years.
Updated monthly, with data being collected two months retrospectively. End-of-year data updated in March.
