Pensioners / Special assistance for immigrants
Recipients of special assistance for immigrants and average amount of assistance (EUR/month/recipient). Special assistance for immigrants is payable to persons aged 65 years or older and to those who are between 16 and 64 years of age and unfit for work.
Included among the recipients are persons who have been paid assistance for and during the relevant reference month. The average amount of assistance represents the arithmetic mean of assistance payments for and during the reference month. Retrospective payments for the period preceding the reference month are not included in the mean.
Yearly data available since 2003. Monthly data available for the current and two preceding years.
This statistical dataset has been discontinued. No new data will be produced. With the discontinuation of the scheme on 1 March 2011, recipients were awarded a guarantee pension.
