Theme

Unemployed persons

Data content

This report shows the number of persons in receipt of unemployment benefit from Kela, the amount of benefits paid out, and the number of reimbursed days during the statistical reference period. Euros/day has been calculated by dividing the amount of benefits paid out with the number of reimbursed days.

The report covers all of the benefits provided by Kela in respect of unemployment.

Benefits are divided into three main categories, i.e. full benefit, reduced benefit or repayment of benefit. Additionally, reduced benefits are classified according to the reason for the reduction.

Important to note: Payments of reduced benefit may be included under several subcategories of reduced benefit, as there may be several reasons for a reduction in benefit. Therefore, the subcategories of reduced benefit cannot be added up.
