Summary report

Data content

The report contains information on the determination of key Kela benefits throughout Finland.

Determined claims. The number of claims determined during the reference period. The data only cover claims determined by Kela local offices.

Average claims turnaround time. The arithmetic mean of the turnaround time of claims determined during the reference period is calculated. The mean turnaround time is equal to the difference between the date of receipt of the claim and the date on which it was determined, expressed in calendar days. The turnaround time also includes time spent obtaining and processing any additional information that may have been needed.
